The Society of St. Catherine of Siena relies on the financial support of our Friends and benefactors to continue its work. Donations go toward helping the Society achieve its goals:

  • To expand the offering of conferences, public courses, conferences and colloquia
  • To develop the means to provide spiritual and, where possible, financial support to theologians
  • To fund scholarships for emerging scholars and fellowships for established scholars working in support of the Society's mission

Dr. Ferdinand Knapp, Chairman of the Society's Development Committee, writes:

"I have supported the Society of St. Catherine of Siena financially since its inception in April 2000. I am convinced that the work it is doing for the Church is of great importance, at a time when, more than ever, there is a need to meditate deeply on the truths of our faith and make them known. The Society impresses me because despite having such few resources, and without complex structures, it manages to undertake its work. Events sponsored by the Society that I have supported and attended are always marked by a sense of friendship and hospitality, as well as a spiritual and intellectual seriousness. I will continue to support them, and if you can find any way to make a donation to them, of no matter how small an amount, I would urge you to do so. Building up the intellectual apostolate of the Church and preparing a new generation of Catholics to meet the challenges of modern society will be essential for the years to come."
