Conferences
The Society of St. Catherine sponsors conferences, often in collaboration with institutes of higher education, to initiate dialogue between British, continental European and North American scholars on the most demanding scholarly questions. Past events have been held at Heythrop College, University of London and the Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology, Cambridge. The conferences have attracted academic participants as well as informed non-specialists. Edited conference proceedings, often with additional papers, are published after each event.
All of the Society's public events include an Action of the Church, usually Holy Mass or Solemn Vespers. They are often opened by a member of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales.
